 Jiang Gongpei,a professor of Huaihua University,the founder of abilityology ,will never forget those days during July 2006 when 《Abilityology》，the first academic classics to research human ability systematically, which he devoted his 28 years  efforts to was published by Chinese Literature Press and translated and issued globally in English , French , German , Japanese , Russian , Spanish , Potruguese , Arabic ,Korean and other languages .The formal publication of 《Abilityology》means the birth of human ability science ,filling the blank of it.Jiang Gongpei  also becomes a hit in academic circle.

 Jiang Gongpei was born interested in things around .He liked to raise and think about questions such as “Why fire blazes while blowed , while the oil lamp goes out ,why many animals are far fiercer than human being ,but they are entamed by puny being,why we can write and paint while animals can’t......
 

Although these questions were not solved , he was still curious about social and natural phenomenon and so interested in science .

When he was a junior ,one day his classmates  came back after taking  part  in ecdemic activity. At that night all the students gathered together and one student knoced down the oil lamp by accident .When the oil was poured on the straw used as mattress pad  , the straw burned up with increasing flame. “Fire ,Fire！” cried students。some of  them got panic. They blowed the fire ,clapped the fire .But obiviously what they did only made the fire  fiercer rather than extinct . While the fire was blazing ,Jiang Gongpei came over and poured the boiled water for drinking at hand to the fire , soon the fire went out .A disater around the corner was avoided.This trifle enlightened him deeply : It is true that knowledge is important ,but cultivating one’s ability is more significant .Since then ,when he was free ,he always convened classmates  to discuss how to improve the ability to deal with the emergency .Lately , when he was engaged in teaching , he emphasized improving student’s integration capability.

He believed : The effects of education  also represented teachers’ integration capability . So,He combined teaching and researching human ability intentionly , and he also came to believe that our ability should be studied  systematically and deeply   and  the  science ought to be established . From then on ,he was determined to devote himself to the long and tough research .

  Concentrating on researching ability  is familiar to us and highly valued .But few of us do further research in our own ability in a long time.

Systematically and deeply researching in human’s own ability and establishing  ability science  is unparalleled.There is a high price for succeeding in this field. For he has to work in normal time, the shortage of time become a challenge.

 To make sure that the research could be continued , he almost takes advantage of the time between 10 pm.and 2 am. and 5 am.to 7 am.everyday. For decades on end ,he sleeps for five or six hours a day.

To save time for study ,work and research, he gives up his favorite recreational and sports activities. To some extent ,he almost becomes a machine that just works ,studies and researches.

    Both to restict himself not to go out but to concentrate on the research and to keep his mind on nothing else but to work in the office and read home ,he who is nice about appearance is determined to shave his head.

His instant persing for ability science  and  research is nothing less than craziness . Even while working ,riding ,having a meeting, on business and doing the housework, he is chewing over questions about his research.

He even entered the ladies’room unconciously once .And he did not realised that until he found that he couldn’t find the toilet which is  for men only .Directly   realizing  the embarrassment , he run ou t hurrily and was frightened breaking out in a cold sweat.After this ,he remined  himself repeatedly that do not be absent in highway and toilet.

With the research deepeded, there araised more trouble and the time ,vigor and cost he poured into was larger.

Without sources of funds, he could just depend on his own salary to purchase the works, go out for research and do experiments.In the eighties of last century he has to dedicate  all the money he arranged for the further study to the research.In the nineties ,still for research he used up the  whole money for his car.What is more ,daily expenditure was saved as possibly as he could. There is not any decoration other than a floor paved. Except two sofas and a teatable ,you couldn’t see other furniture in his house.

  With his great efforts , since july ,2006, 《Abilityology》was published by   Chinese Literature Press and translated and issued globally in English , French , German , Japanese , Russian , Spanish , Potruguese , Arabic ,Korean and other languages .

The result he devoted his 28 years efforts to is finally presented before us……

What is《

 Our chinese psychologist, tutor of a Ph.D student  Yi Fajian professor said in the preface of the book: “《Abilityology》is our first book to study  how human’s ability is formed, developed and how it is applied and evaluated. The scientific classics reveals roundly the basics, comprehensiveness  ，utility of the displine in which ability develop and change !”

“《Abilityology》’s publication is congratulatory in the field of psychics！” India scholar Yasu believed:“《Abilityology 》is a miracle among all the books, and it breaks the peace of human thinking. It denotes the birth of human ability science and accelerates our process . It also denotes the civilization, development and advancement of society  .And it will be our forever monument in the history of scientic development　！”

English scholar appraised that：“ 《Abilityology》is the first one to research human’s ability systematically and reveals roundly  how ability forms ,develops and changes.

The theory system , method system and adaptive system  it established constitute a new science ----《Abilityology》.”

《Abilityology》was highly praised after published , but Jiang　Gongpei was not satisfied and didn’t stop his research.

 He says :“Establishing the science is only building a platform,and so many feats remain to be achieved .”

What he is considering now is how to make full use of the platform to set up a academic agency for research and to deepen it. He also want to utilize the platform  to spread its results, accelerate the cultivation of talent and to strengthen the ciizen’s qualities.

He suggests that he will spend ten to twenty years to try to cultivate several international masters in the field of Abilityology，making china the center of international ability  development,utility and evaluation . It will also enhance China‘s  status in international scientific research.
